Camp Programs – Summer and March Break Camps

Our Leisure camp has both group and 1:1 options. The goal of our leisure camp is to provide opportunities for peer interactions and engagement in leisure skills.

  • Full or half day options available.
  • Sessions are run by an Instructor Therapist (IT)
  • Group Camp
  • Teaching will occur in small groups.
  • Designed for children who fit the following profile:
    • Relatively independent with life skills (dressing, toileting, and eating)
    • No significant challenging behaviours with adults or peers
    • Tolerates being near peers without problem behaviour
    • Follows some instructions from adults without prompts or problem behaviour
    • Can follow a structured routine at home and school with minimal prompts
    • Does not require direct supervision 100% of the time
  • 1:1 Camp
  • Teaching will occur in 1:1 setting
  • Goals include integrating the child into small group activities, develop leisure skills
  • Designed for children who require support:
    • To join group activities
    • To follow instructions
    • To request for preferred items
    • With self help skills
  • School, Daycare & Camp shadowing
  • Provide Instructor Therapist (IT) to accompany your child to school, daycare or camp.
  • IT’s role is to facilitate social interactions and your child’s participation in group and/or individual activities.
  • IT will promote independence and skill building by targeting specific goals.
