Supervised Therapist

AlphaBee is looking for a Supervised Therapist to service the Scarborough/GTA regions; Full-time, 1-year contract position.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Masters degree in ABA and qualified to begin supervised practice as per CPBAO guidelines or already a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) in Ontario.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Autistic individuals.
  • Staff training and program management experience.
  • Knowledge and application of Verbal Behaviour and Skills Based Treatment (SBT).
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with caregivers and other stakeholders.
  • Drivers license and access to a vehicle during work hours.
  • The successful candidate must also have a current vulnerable sector screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervised by Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBAs)
  • Train and evaluate Instructor Therapists (ITs)
  • Conduct functional and skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ESDM) under RBA guidance
  • Assist with intake and treatment planning
  • Handle administrative tasks (scheduling, reporting, data entry)
  • Create teaching materials, progress notes, and reports
  • Develop individualized treatment programs with RBA input
  • Implement and monitor behaviour reduction plans
  • Deliver staff training and parent coaching
  • Liaise with community agencies and schools as needed
  • Meet families to review progress and supervise parent training
