Speech and language therapy helps a child understand others and make themselves understood. That can mean clearer speech sounds, understanding what’s being said, finding words, or learning to communicate without speech at all — through a device, pictures or signs. A registered speech-language pathologist assesses what’s getting in the way and works on it directly with your child.
AlphaBee provides speech and language therapy for children and youth with autism aged 2 to 18, delivered by registered speech-language pathologists and communicative disorders assistants. We work on speech sounds, understanding language, fluency, voice and social communication — including support for children who use AAC or other non-speaking communication. Sessions run at our Etobicoke, Scarborough and Hamilton centres, at home, or remotely.
AlphaBee’s Speech-Language therapy program is a specialized service designed to help children with communication, language, and speech disorders. The team of speech-language pathologists and communication disorder assistants work with children to improve their ability with speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and social communication skills. Using evidence-based practices, individualized treatment plans are created to address each child’s unique needs and goals.
At AlphaBee, we are dedicated to being at the forefront of advancements in research and best practices for children with Autism. We continuously enhance the skills and knowledge of our team to provide cutting-edge, evidence-based practices. Our unwavering commitment ensures the children and families we serve receive the highest standard of learning and support to foster growth and meaningful progress.
AlphaBee delivers services across multiple locations, including Toronto, Peel, York, Halton and the Greater Hamilton area with AlphaBee centres located in Etobicoke, Scarborough, and Hamilton, as well as online, home-based, and, school/daycare settings.
