In short

A token board helps your child see how close they are to something they are working for. They earn a token for each step, then trade the full board for a reward chosen ahead of time.

Three pages: a 5-token board, a 10-token board and a sheet of tokens.

How do I use it?

  1. Choose the reward together and put its picture in the “I am working for” box.
  2. Give a token straight away each time your child finishes a step or tries a new skill.
  3. When the board is full, give the reward right away, then start again.
  4. Once 5 feels easy, move to the 10-token board.
